March Events at the Temple

Hello Family! We have lots of wonderful events to share with you this month. Please read carefully as times and content vary.

New Moon – Wednesday March 6 – starts at 7 pm – Open To All!

We will gather in the Guest House at 7 pm for potluck, (please bring a yummy, healthy dish to share) then at 8 pm, Priest Edmond will lead a ritual in the Temple, while Priestess Candace will show us how to make Spring Fertility Wands in the guest house.

Red Moon Circle Sunday March 17 – starts at 3 pm – Women Only

Join Priestess Victoria and Vanessa for a sacred despacho offering. The despacho is a traditional Quechua offering to harmonize the mind and spirit body to that of the seasons. As a communal creation, building a despacho is centered around sacred reciprocity and showing gratitude to Pachamama, mother earth. Each participant may bring offerings (preferably burnable/biodegradable) for the ceremony. Typical despacho offerings may include: ribbons, flowers, beans, herbs, stones, eggs, tobacco, sugar, chocolate, nuts, grains, incense resins, or anything else representative of your relationship with earth.

Ostara / Full Moon Celebration – Thursday March 21 – starts at 7 pm – Open To All!

Please join us at 7 pm for potluck (please bring a yummy, healthy dish to share) followed by ritual in the Temple at 8 pm. (Hoping the weather is (finally) nice enough to be out in the Pavilion for potluck. It’s been a long, cold winter!) We will bless the seeds to be planted here this spring and offer a guided “Seed Meditation” during ritual.

Other recommended events (NOT at the Temple!)

Free De-escalation Training – Saturday March 2 – starts at 10 am – Open to All!

There’s a tense situation with a power imbalance, strong feelings, fear. How do we de-escalate it so nobody gets hurt?

Please join Las Vegas Street Medics and Las Vegas Radical Mental Health Collective as we spend a few hours learning together and sharing strategies on how to keep safe when encountering people in crisis and cops.

In 2017 Tashii Brown was choked to death in Las Vegas. He was in crisis, and rather than getting help, he was murdered by cops. Artist Ravi Zupa sold some art and donated the proceeds to Las Vegas Street Medics so we could work toward preventing future similar deaths.

Free to all. Please come with an openness to learning and bring a friend.
