Merry Meet, My Friend

Many of you  know  the Temple of Goddess Spirituality, dedicated to Sekhmet was established in 1993 by Ms. Genevieve Vaughan, founded on the principals of Goddess Spirituality, Gift Economy and Peace.  You can explore the Herstory of the Temple.

For the past 25 years, Ms. Vaughan has generously funded the Temple as her “gift” to the tens of thousands of people who have come to this Sacred Space, be it for a rejuvenating visit to the Temple and grounds, to attend a ritual or workshop, a walk around the labyrinth, a few days private retreat in the Guest House, or a week-long peace vigil.

The Temple is engaged in so many positive endeavors. As well as providing space for both public and private spiritual services, we host Couch Surfers from all over the planet, provide accommodations to Peace activists, an Ordination Program and  an ongoing Prison Outreach. We would like to see all of these important activities not only continue, but expand.

Ms. Vaughan has been a generous benefactor for many years, but it is now time for the Temple to become self-sustaining. A Temple Council was formed just over a year ago, its main purpose has been to come up with ways to keep things “growing” here, as they have for the past 25 years. We have attempted several fund-raising projects with limited success.  The only way we can guarantee the survival and continued success of the Temple is to appeal directly to you for your support. With your financial help, the positive work and energy of the Temple can continue far into the future. Without it, this future is uncertain.

Donations of any size, and “one time” donations are greatly appreciated, however recurring donations will allow us to establish an ongoing, monthly budget. A very simple and (for most people) comfortable way to keep the Temple going would be to sign up for a recurring, tax deductible donation. (You may cancel at any time)  We only need 600 people who can commit to a $10 a month donation to keep the Temple going.  If a fraction of the people who come here annually would do that, we would be fully funded.    Can we count on you?

Any and all, either one time or recurring donations can be easily scheduled by visiting the donate link below

Please pass this request on to any group or individual  you feel may be interested in helping us continue to preserve and maintain this Sacred Space.

Goddess Bless!
